So this is Christmas...

No it's not. But wouldn't it be nice if it was?

I have made a list on the whiteboard in the kitchen, of what to write about in this post. It thus follows:

Andy in Costa Rica
Bjork + Radiohead Vids
Spag Bol: I love

Earth-shattering, I know. So, from the top...

My brother, Andy, is currently in Costa Rica. Lucky sod. He's at a place called Finca Lomas, doing some kind of environmental thingummy. You know, it involves plants, animals, digging, weeding, that sort of stuff. To be honest, I haven't a clue what it involves, but it sounds better than most other stuff, even if him and the other volunteers can't currently have a wash, due to the lack of any running water. Great! I'm sure that he's having a fantastic time; I always thoroughly enjoyed the whole 'new experience' aspect of travelling, and not knowing what you might be doing the next day was bloody wonderful. I've honestly never felt so free. So, yeah, I'm somewhat jealous of the little mite, and his new adventures. If I had the choice I'd take me and Mrs lagomorph off to the other side of the globe, with only a rickety old van, a tent, and some pots and pans to keep us company. However, I don't currently have this luxury, so I'll have to cope with the monotonous-daily-grind-to-pay-the-rent, same as the majority of the western world. One day. One day...

I mean, how nice would it be, of an evening, to be checking out the local turtles like these young folk here? Very nice. That's how much. It always fascinates me to think that right now there are people who aren't bothered about how much a pint is down Weatherspoon's, or whether Chelsea got through to the semis of the Champions League, or even how much they're going to get paid come the month end. Some people just live their life to experience new things, and to always discover. I've been there, and I know I can go back, so one day, you'll see, I'll be back there, wherever there may be, and I'll have Mrs L right there beside me. This makes me think, maybe I should write a bit about my time in Israel, et al. Yeah, I should. But not tonight. That's another 56 posts entirely.

And Andy, if you ever get the chance to get to Santa Cruz, and then to an internet cafe where the internet actually works, and that you get the chance to read this, well, I hope you're having a wicked time. We miss you. I miss you. And we're really fucking jealous.

Next.
Radiohead and Bjork vids. Yeah, well, I found this stuff and it's really cool. Radiohead and Bjork are brilliant anyway, so the music's fantastic on it's own, but some of their vids are just plain top notch. So first, two Radiohead one's; Go To Sleep, and There There. And sorry to all those Mac owners: the There There vid only opens in Windows Media Player, I think. If it does open on your Mac then ignore me. I haven't a clue what I'm talking about.

And here is a whole massive shitload of Bjork's stuff, all in a long list. The quicktime screens are a bit too biddy for my liking, but they'll have to do. The Joga, Bachelorette, Army Of Me and Hyper-Ballad ones are the best ones, but that's just my opinion. What do I know?

And lastly, Spag Bol.

Yeah, I love it. It's great. Mmm. Lovely.

I shall be dispensing gherkins tomorrow.
